Bank holiday music bonanza!

ABSOLUTELY unique! That’s the way the organisers of the forthcoming Gretton Music Festival are describing their bank holiday weekend event.

Sponsored by eggbOx Graphics, they say the event will feature the widest range of performances ever seen in one festival.

And with hymns, jazz, the top 40, classic rock, West End musicals and opera on offer, there’s certainly something for all ages and every musical taste.

Plus, there will be an open mic session, children’s French sing-along and a ukulele band! So you can see why the organisers claim there is no other festival like it!

A number of performers are also back by popular demand. In particular, Gretton’s superstar, Elle Roberts and her Thirsty friends. And there’s a chance to sing your favourite hymns at the Baptist Chapel.

This year’s new artists include the Lazy Alligator Jazz Band, whose members caused a storm at their recent Blue Bell performances, and Barb Jungr  – whose March show was a sell-out at the Core in Corby.

The Sports and Social Club will welcome Northampton-based band The Above, which promises classic rock to entertain keep you wanting more!. There’ll be free air guitars for everyone! Who can wait?

The Gretton Music Festival 2012 takes place over August Bank Holiday, spanning the four days with concerts. For full details and more information, visit:
