KETTERING-based Affinion International Travel is celebrating after being named Best Performing Call Centre at Jet2holidays’ first-ever overseas trade conference in Majorca last month.
The package holiday specialist whisked 120 of its top agents away to the Iberostar Royal Cristina in Palma for its two-night Partnership2Success Conference.
The VIP event gave agents the opportunity to learn more about Jet2holidays’ future vision from CEO, Steve Heapy, plus grill senior members of staff from the business on how to effectively promote and sell package holidays in order to help their own growth and expansion. There was also the opportunity to network with Jet2holidays’ key hotel suppliers plus a motivational speech from TV personality Denise Welch.
The conference culminated in a gala dinner, where Affinion International Travel was one of 11 agents to scoop an award for helping drive awareness and sales of Jet2holidays to their local customers over the past year.
